• Tunica Academy Student Council

     

    Student Council is an organization conducted by students and supervised by a teacher. The purpose of the Student Council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events like Homecoming that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the Student Council is the voice of the student body. It helps share student ideas, interests, and concerns with the school-wide community. The Student Council also plans and sponsors the TA Beauty Review to help raise money for Prom.

    The officers campaign and are elected by the student body. Aside from the officers, each class nominates 2 students to represent their class.
