Faith in Action

Chapel
Chapel is the foundation of spiritual life for Tunica Academy’s 7th through 12th grade students. Chapel services focus on teaching
the Christian Gospel to seventh through twelfth grade students. Students attend regularly scheduled
services each Wednesday. Students and teachers work together to plan Chapel services in an effort
to encourage and equip our students to grow in their own faith as they worship with other students.
Tag's Kids
Tag’s Kids meets twice a week during the Spring semester and is an outreach ministry for our fourth
through sixth grade students. Taught by Tunica Academy teachers, local ministers, and parent
volunteers, Tag’s Kids' Mission is to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to students and to offer training to
equip children to boldly and confidently share their Christian faith.
Integrity Time
Integrity Time is for students in kindergarten through the sixth grade. For the 2020-2021 school year, we are focusing on the ABC's of Integrity written by Sarah Berry. The children learn about attributes of integrity through our own perfect example, Jesus Christ, They learn about Christ through Bible stories and discuss how they can implement these same attributes in their daily lives as a witness for Jesus Christ.
Flagpole
Flagpole is a time for all of our elementary students to gather midweek to sing praise and worship
songs, as well as pray, before starting school each Wednesday. Singing is a great way to teach Bible
verses and the children learn so many Bible verses through our time together around the playground
flagpole.
